sim journal update is not much today

it is taking a long time to terraform the island, but that is a factor of being persnickety.  however, it does point to the potential use of creating terrain maps in Photoshop.  the learning curve for that should be small, with creating test files and tweaking them after uploading isl.  the parcel divisions were first done in Photoshop and that same file could have been used as a guide layer for a terrain file

terrain textures were set up and it would be nice to have finer controls on those and perhaps a few more levels for additional textures.  for example, it would be nice to specify that a dark beach sand be applied from 10-22 metres with a 1 metre blend into the next layer.
