free sims from sl?

as you may know, the iliveisl estate’s first phase will be 52 sims and the second will be another 52.  and even with the conversion of 9 OS sims, we are still growing with the addition of two new full sims in the last month.

but we were curious when we read this sl post on adding free sims to private estates!  now they remain Linden sims and are connected to their Nautilus City.  but those sims add a lot of value to those private estates.  we are just curious to see what perks we may get when we hit 130 sims.  our residents are among the very best isl and we love them tremendously and many love us back just as much (it’s a big hippie lovefest!)  :p  we have our openspace park for Enercity and as we grow will have more true openspaces (at our expense, but as a def value for our peeps)

so no complaints (lol, next to Torley, me and the subQ are the biggest sl evangelists out there!), just curious  :)

oops, Ener goes ape again on other blogs about this

hd on Linden Labs, we will be at 130+ soon   =D

You definitely should get in contact with Jack Linden — specially if your openspace sims are mostly NOT used for rentals but just to make ilivesl look beautiful :)

This blog is just one of a number providing bad information. These aren’t free sims for the USS. It’s a new sea area that will still belong to, and be under the control of, Linden Lab. The sailing community will be able to make use of them, similar to what already occurs in the Mowry Bay area and Adriatic. The only new thing here is LL requesting that the USS allow themselves to be connected to it in an attempt to bring more of the sailing community into Linden waters, something LL had already been working towards with the creation of Nautilus and the recent auction of areas there for sailing themed stores.

you are correct in that they are not free to them, but they are free for their use. that is the same thing when it comes to an estate. i would love Linden Labs to give me access to even one openspace ocean

if you were an estate owner you would understand the value of having openspace sims available for use by your residents. and there is a lot of value in being attached to mainland in that people can easily find you

write back after you get to the point of paying $2000+ a month to Linden and are trying to stay afloat despite these things :)

Of course they are free sims to the USS, Of course Linden labs just handed a private estate preferential treatment, to say it isn’t anything but that is total garbage. I’m sick of it
